Astrology for Healers and Therapists for July 2017

Before I look at this month’s charts I must point out that the interpretation is mainly for therapists dealing with problematic situations.  That is why I seem to emphasise the problem or negative side of life rather than the positive.  Of course the charts indicate a general situation but the leaning must be for those clients or patients who are struggling in some way.

First do please note that the following is using the WESTERN FOUR ELEMENT system based in western magical and astrological understanding.  The individual therapist must make the translation to the Eastern Five Element system that is usual in Shiatsu and Acupuncture theory.  If you have forgotten the explanation about Elemental and Modal make up then do refresh your memory by looking back at the Introduction to Astrology for Healers and Therapists.

I look at the charts for the Sundays in July when the Sun is nearing the mid heaven for that day.  Obviously this is for Haye Mill, so you will have to accept the approximation for your own geographical position but the interpretation should not vary too much from this one.  It is a way of following the general trends throughout the month.  Notice there are 5 Sundays in this month once again.

What began so optimistically last month degenerated into an outward selfish attitude by the end of the month. That does not bode well for July, especially the first couple of weeks.

The week beginning the 2nd July and it looks as if it is suddenly falling to pieces. The T-Square on Jupiter has doubled in strength and there is a temporary one on the Mercury as the Moon comes into aspect.  Venus has lost its lines of ease and is now unaspected

The Modal scene is unchanged from last week but Air has gained a sign from Water.

There is an air of disbelief. The Cancerian shell is going to be needed for people to not fall apart in despair.  A faith, even if misplaced, is going to help individuals pull through.

Counsellors – this week it is going to be a matter of picking up the pieces. Long term Clients will seem to relapse – new Clients will be shell shocked!

Healers – that predominance in Cardinal mode must indicate an urge to ‘do’ something. Watch out for the preponderance of Water that will have an adverse effect.

The week of the 9th July sees Mercury moved into Leo and Venus moved into Gemini.  You can see two T-Squares back to back with a very strong base line as a result.  Venus has formed a line of ease with Mercury.

The Modal scene is changed with Cardinal losing sign to Mutable. Fire has also gained a sign from Water.

The shock and disbelief makes way for a much more determined attitude, despite the strength of the T-Squares. Something is going to be sorted come hell and high water.

Counsellors – look on with a sense of awe for Clients will surprise you for the ability to turn things around. It is easy-peasy for you, so give them a verbal credit when due.

Healers – this is much more productive and balanced, even though there is only one change in the Elemental situation. Make hay while the Sun shines.

The week beginning the 16th July would appear to be a much more complex situation. However, apart from the Moon there are no new star sign positions but the aspect lines are many changing.  There are still two T-Squares but one is now on Pluto and the other on the fast moving Moon. The Pluto / Sun opposition has greatly diminished and there are several lines of east appearing.

The Modal scene is unchanged from last week but Earth has lost a sign to Fire, which now dominates.

Well someone has been thinking on their feet or grasping opportunities as they have come their way. Sudden is an understatement for the week and long term, surely fated, changes are in the air.

Counsellors – Don’t you dare take the credit for progress made with your Clients. They have done the work, not you.  Just don’t forget to praise them when appropriate.

Healers – Fire and Water do not mix well so be rather careful in making hurried judgements as to how about going about therapy. You might just undo some of the good recently done by a hasty action!

The week beginning 23rd July and all is very different again.  No T-Squares around.  The Sun and Mars have both moved into Leo.  Neptune appears to be unaspected, and most of the aspect lines, especially the lines of challenge, have disappeared.  Saturn and Venus are in opposition.

Cardinal has lost three signs to Fixed whilst Fire has gained two signs from Water.

What a change! Self determination and facing up to challenge is the order of the day.  This is the consequence of last week’s change of attitude.  There might be a sting in the tail but who cares?

Counsellors – Now is the time for a deep revisit of past bad choices and opportunities lost. That goes for your professionalism in supervision as well as with your Clients and their appraisal of progress.  Honesty at all times is required.

Healers – Heart, Small Intestine, Heart Constrictor and Triple Heater meridians are bound to under scrutiny for good or ill. But get it right and results will be obviously show a balanced understanding of health and well being.

The week beginning 30th July and still more fundamental change.  Saturn is apparently unaspected, the Sun / Mars conjunction will also appear unaspected once it loses its aspect with the Moon.  Neptune is also still unaspected.   What is left?!

Mutable has gained a sign from Fixed whilst Fire has lost two signs, one to Earth and the other to Water.

Stunned! That is the result of taking direct action.  How on earth are things going to work from this point?

Counsellors – Don’t let up on the revision but don’t flog it. Constant but gentle pressure will be of more help to Clients than going for the jugular.  They need your objective reflection more than ever this week.

Healers – Although Fire still dominates, the sudden drop in emphasis to a more balanced Elemental scene is going to need a more subtle approach this week. Have confidence in your professional understanding and go for it.

Pheew!
