Astrology for Healers and Therapists – December 2025
Before I look at this month’s charts I must point out that the interpretation is mainly for therapists dealing with problematic situations. That is why I seem to emphasise the problem or negative side of life rather than the positive. Of course the charts indicate a general situation but the leaning must be for those clients or patients who are struggling in some way.
First do please note that the following is using the WESTERN FOUR ELEMENT system based in western magical and astrological understanding. The individual therapist must make the translation to the Eastern Five Element system that is usual in Shiatsu and Acupuncture theory. If you have forgotten the explanation about Elemental and Modal make up then do refresh your memory by looking back at the Introduction to Astrology for Healers and Therapists.
I look at the charts for the Sundays in December when the Sun is nearing the mid heaven for that day. Obviously this is for Haye Mill, so you will have to accept the approximation for your own geographical position but the interpretation should not vary too much from this one. It is a way of following the general trends throughout the month. Notice there are 4 Sundays in this month once again.
Last month was a month of movement. Rather than fighting to get what you wanted, if you went with the flow then things could hardly go wrong. More of that please.
The week beginning the 7th December
Venus has moved into Sagittarius. The line of ease between Pluto and Venus has disappeared, as has the line of challenge between Venus and Uranus. The Grand Trine on Venus has also moved to rest on Mercury, as has the line of challenge to Uranus.
Mutable has gained a sign from Fixed, whilst the Elemental scene is unchanged.
Cardinal 2 – Fixed 3 – Mutable 5
Fire 3 – Earth 1 – Air 1 – Water 5
Rather than just accepting things and going with the flow, now there is considerable thought taking place bringing understanding to any undertaking. This is a chart of achievement.
Counsellors – You must think that your profession is a joy to work in. Clients really want to work.
Healers – The Trine in Water may cause an imbalance so watch out for Kidney, Bladder, Liver and Gall Bladder meridians.
The week beginning 14th December
Mercury has also moved into Sagittarius, collapsing the Grand Trine, but opening up a second smaller trine on Pluto. The ‘bundle’ of Mars, the Sun and Venus is becoming more intense as the come closer together. Neptune has resumed a forwards movement through the heavens. The Saturn / Neptune conjunction has become the most important feature of the chart.
Mutable has gained yet another sign from Fixed, whilst Water has lost a sign to each of Air and Fire.
Cardinal 2 – Fixed 2 – Mutable 6
Fire 4 – Earth 1 – Air 2 – Water 3
The emphasis has shifted from ‘going with the flow’ to seeking to understand ‘destiny’. The personal projection, desire and developed persona is giving way to an acceptance of what was originally given by way of birth.
Counsellors – This week it is all about accepting what ‘is’ rather than fighting for something that ‘isn’t’.
Healers – The imbalance has gone away, but watch out for karmic influences or possible past life echoes.
The week beginning 21st December
Mars has moved into Capricorn, although the bundle is even stronger than last week. Mercury is unaspected. Both smaller trines have collapsed. The challenge between the bundle and the Neptune / Saturn conjunction is now very strong.
Mutable has lost a sign to Cardinal, whilst Fire and Air have both lost a sign each to Earth.
Cardinal 3 – Fixed 2 – Mutable 5
Fire 3 – Earth 3 – Air 1 – Water 3
There is a polarising of desired and projected image as against the acceptance of birth potential and limitations.
Counsellors – you may have your worked cut out this week. What a change of fortunes. Clients may not accept they natural limitations or character traits but fall into fantasy mode.
Healers – the karmic influence will dominate all considerations. How that works out for present day will be the key to patients’ wellbeing.
The week beginning 28th December
Both the Sun and Venus have moved into Capricorn. Mercury has joined the challenge to the Saturn / Neptune conjunction.
Mutable has lost two signs to Cardinal, whilst Fire has lost a sign to Earth.
Cardinal 5 – Fixed 2 – Mutable 3
Fire 2 – Earth 4 – Air 1 – Water 3
A typical Capricorn may soar high but can also fall dramatically down again. Mercury’s two minds will bring influence to most peoples’ thinking. Progress could well stutter to a halt.
Counsellors – The desire to move forwards will be constantly offset by anxiety and procrastination. Don’t despair.
Healers – Back to a ‘stuckness’ with obvious problems associated with Lung, Large Intestine, Triple Heater and Heart Constrictor meridians. Hard work this week, that is if you are going to work over the holiday period.
